Biography

Lourdes Castillo studied Law at Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) before completing a bilingual Dual Master’s Degree in Corporate Law and Legal Practice at IE Law School. She now focuses on insurance and commercial litigation, advising and representing policyholders and insureds in complex coverage disputes across a broad range of insurance lines, including property damage, business interruption, D&O, general and professional liability, cyber, credit and surety, and international insurance programmes.

Experience

She began her legal career in the Litigation and Intellectual Property Department of a large international law firm, where she gained experience in commercial litigation, intellectual property and dispute resolution. Prior to joining SDV Fenchurch Wesolowski, Lourdes worked in the Industrial Risks Department of a prominent global law firm’s Madrid office, where she advised national and international insurers and reinsurers on complex disputes involving construction, energy, defective products, machinery breakdown, engineering and professional liability.
