Gloria González

Gloria graduated in Law from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and holds a Double Master’s in Legal Practice and Business Law from Universidad de Navarra. Her practice focuses on insurance and reinsurance disputes, with particular expertise in complex coverage issues, high-value claims and cross-border litigation. She is regularly involved in cross-border disputes, working alongside international law firms and advising on issues of Spanish law in proceedings before foreign courts. In addition to her disputes practice, Gloria advises on insurance regulatory matters, including insurance distribution, regulatory compliance, engagement with the Spanish insurance regulator, contractual drafting and negotiation, and other regulatory issues affecting the insurance sector. She also has experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, including regulatory due diligence and insurance aspects of corporate transactions.

Prior to joining SDV Fenchurch Wesolowski in 2024, Gloria was a member of the Insurance and Reinsurance team at a leading Spanish law firm. She has experience across a wide range of insurance matters, including professional and civil liability, property damage, business interruption, surety and credit insurance, financial lines, cyber risks, personal accident, life and health insurance, as well as large and complex risks and international insurance programmes.
