Alison L. Hansen

Alison “Ali” Hansen is an associate in the firm’s California office where she focuses her practice on representing commercial policyholders in a variety of insurance coverage matters. Prior to joining SDV Fenchurch, Ali litigated complex construction defect and personal injury cases, providing her with a rigorous litigation foundation that informs her coverage practice.

Ali advises commercial policyholders on a broad range of insurance coverage and risk-transfer issues. Drawing on her prior litigation experience, Ali brings a practical and strategic perspective to coverage matters, helping clients evaluate risks, develop effective solutions, and protect their interests.

Ali is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as President of Pride Law and received honors in Advanced Trial Advocacy. She holds dual degrees in English and Biology from Quinnipiac University and completed an honors thesis exploring gender and legal history.

She is admitted to the State Bar of California and has contributed to legal scholarship through publications on child maltreatment reporting during the COVID-19 pandemic and informal discovery in dangerous condition cases.
